R/H`s visual universe consists of ravishing painted prints, wanna-be-naïve themes often reaching to the latest decades, insightful feminine cuts and a relaxed state of mind with and a certain spirit of black magic – still light and easy to wear. R/H plays with the contrasts of masculine and feminine through mixing soft with rough. The garments are made of quality materials, all combined with unique R/H prints.

The letters R and H come from designers' last names, Riiheläinen and Hernesniemi.
Hanna Riiheläinen and Emilia Hernesniemi met 2003 while studying in the University of Art & Design Helsinki. Both designers have worked in the wide field of fashion & design, in Finland and abroad - Riiheläinen at Zac Posen as design assistant in New York and Hernesniemi in Berlin doing fashion PR at Agency V. Before their graduation as Masters of Arts they decided to develop their own world of shapes, cuts, colors and prints through their own womenswear collection.

R/H is sold in selected shops around Europe such as Henrik Vibskov store and U.S. Import in Copenhagen, My O My, Stockmann department store and Acolyth in Finland. In the USA, R/H is sold at International Playground and NMRKT in New York and Pour Porter in Colorado. R/H has a R/H Mini Shop in Helsinki and a webshop at shop.rh-the-label.com.
