Minimarket has been assigned to create an exclusive line for The Museum of Modern Art in Stockholm. The collection is named Bærtling by Minimarket for Moderna Museet, and is shown as part of the exhibition with the Swedish artist Olle Bærtling’s (1911-1981) most prominent works. The exhibition and the collection are shown between 6th of October 2007 and 6th of January 2008. If you have no chance to visit the museum, you can see parts of the co-operation at the links below.

All garments in the collection are inspired by one of Bærtling’s works, the XAE. It unites Bærtling’s particular geometrical style and Minimarket’s focus on the body’s shapes. The pattern set out is graphic, reflected in angular garments with pleated and three-dimensional details.
